As part of the 54th traditional opera season at the Pergolesi Theater, a fully accessible opera was staged for the first time.
With this event, for the first time, the Pergolesi Spontini Foundationmade the opera accessible to blind/visually impaired and deaf/hard of hearing people. The project for an “accessible opera” in collaboration with the Italian Union of the Blind and Partially Sighted People, division of Ancona, and the Italian National Agency for the Deaf, local division of Ancona. The initiative includes a number of services available free of charge before the performance, as well as others during the performance.
